7.00AM - 8.00Am - morning flow yoga to revitalise
Kate has been practising yoga for over 7 years, but it wasn’t till after she was working full time in London, she realised she was burning herself out and that she needed a little bit more than what her then current working situation was offering her, so decided to take a chance on herself and enrolled on a teacher training course almost a year and a half a ago.
She studied Vinyasa Flow and Modified Ashtanga with Yoga London at the Buddhist temple in Bermondsey and whilst there, learnt about yoga, life, philosophy, the mind and the body. It deepened her practice in more than one way and taught her that there can be different dimensions to any yoga practice; that as well as stretching and fitness, a practice has depth and can mean a different thing to each individual practitioner. Above all, It helped her learn how to detach from her ego and focus on the now and this is something she practices every day. It’s also something Kates tries to bring in to her classes - teaching to focus more internally not just externally and to work on the mind not the self/the ego.
