For Rebekah, yoga began as an aid for relaxation to manage the stress of studying for a medical degree. Slowly but surely it became a healing tool that supported many areas of her life. Alongside her medical and fitness training, yoga has deepened her understanding of the mind, body and soul.
Rebekah’s classes are often interwoven with mindfulness, pranayama (breathing) techniques and yogic philosophy. She encourages a sense of playfulness and curiosity in her classes, and uses music to facilitate a relaxed environment that is supportive of individual needs. She offers assistance in classes to help students improve their alignment and dive deeper into their practice.
