The Power of Touch - 5 part series
1pm - July 31st/August 14th & 28th/September 11th & 25th - with Delice Headlam
Join us for a series of workshops all about assists within yoga classes. You can either book the whole series or drop in to individual sessions, with time in between to put what you are learning into practice in your classes.
Touch remains an uncomfortable topic to delve into and there will always be a debate on the benefits of this in a yoga class.
Giving adjustments has been an integral part of teacher training but the after effect of a national lockdown has led to a loss of confidence in assisting students when in class.
When given permission, the power of touch during an adjustment is more than just altering alignment but also allows a mutual exchange of energies which is also experienced perhaps before the physical takes place.
This workshop is suitable for yoga teachers who wish to regain confidence in assisting students in class - encouraging depth in asanas and practice as well as new yoga teachers who completed their yoga teacher training without the practice of assisting.
You can either buy a pack for the whole series or attend on a drop in basis
Yoga with Live Music
6pm - August 8th 2021 - with Sam & Charlie Harman
The Harman brothers are coming back for another wonderful evening of yoga and live music!
Enjoy an extended practice, lead by Sam, which will include meditation, pranayama, asana and mantra. All to the backdrop of Charlie's beautiful music on guitar, hang drum and singing. You will then be lead in a short Kirtan, a call and response chanting of mantras, to end the evening in the most joyful way possible. The last event was a huge success, this is one not to miss!
This session is open to all levels, all you need is an open heart and mind

When our chakras (energy centres) are centred, you will feel a sense of balance, freedom and rejuvenation from the inside out. What will we cover in this workshop?
- work through yoga asanas (poses), pranayama (yogic breathing), dhyana (meditation), mudras (gestures) and more to connect with each chakra
- learn about our different chakras, what they are, and what they relate to
- improve circulation through the body
- release pain and discomfort both emotionally and physically
- connect inwards and notice transformative changes take place
- take what you’ve learnt into your daily routine
Whether you already have some knowledge of the Chakras, or are new and looking to expand your understanding this workshop is open to all.
We are so excited to have added Retreats to our yoga offering.
We will be running a number of retreats throughout the year, both in the UK and abroad, and aim to offer something for everyone. We know that retreats can often come with a serious price tag so have strived to create luxury experiences at a reasonable price.
Our studio head Jeni is passionate about retreats, and has put together a program of styles and locations we think you'll really love. Head to our Retreats page for more info on upcoming trips and how to book.
