4 Week Foundations Course with Jeni England
Every Sunday at 2pm starting 14th February
This 4 week course will work through all the foundations you need to feel comfortable and confident attending regular yoga classes. Each week will focus on a different aspect of the practice, working through Sun Salutations, basic standing and seated postures and an introduction to simple balances. This will all be interspersed with yoga philosophy, breathing techniques and sanskrit terms.
Whether you're a complete beginner, or more experienced but in need of a refresher, this course will be an open and relaxed environment to improve your practice. Capacity will be limited to 15 to allow Jeni to give you the proper attention and guidance needed to help you progress, and all participants will be unmuted so questions can be asked throughout.
The course can either be booked as a block for £30 for the whole 4 weeks, or as drop in classes at £10 if there is only one module you wish to attend.
Week 1 - Breath & Sun Salutations (60mins)
Week 2 - Basic Standing Poses (60mins)
Week 3 - Basic Seated Poses (60mins)

Rocket with Jeni England
Saturday 27th February - 2pm (2 hours) £18
Rocket is a dynamic and playful practice, created by Larry Shultz, based on the traditional Ashtanga sequences. With plenty of balances and inversions, it is designed to build strength and in the words of Larry "it gets you there faster!".
There are 3 series/sequences in Rocket; 1 focuses on legs and forward bends, 2 on arm balances and back bends, and 3 is a combination of 1 & 2 in a longer sequence. In a usual 60min class there isn't enough time to complete a full sequence, so teachers will modify it to adapt to the shorter time frame.
In this workshop Jeni will take you through the whole 'Rocket 1' series, a mixed level sequence good for those who have not boarded the Rocketship before but with lots of opportunity to advance for students with more experience. You will also pick up a few tips and drills for inversions and balances to help you get upside with confidence. The practice will be 2 hours, but will include breathing exercises (pranayama) and a well earned extended Savasana at the end!
This practice is not suitable for complete beginners, a basic knowledge of yoga is recommended to get the most out of the workshop.
